Ghoonghat Bhabhi in North India

Ghoonghat is a north indian tradition where sari grew in length with one end used to cover the bosom, the head and the face. Traditionally, in some parts of India, women are supposed to have a Ghoonghat in front of the family elders and men, except husbands and close family members. But Ghoonghat is not so thick cloth like muslim pardha, you see beauty of women. Here are some Bhabhi in North India.

Ghoonghat generally a pallu (the loose end of a sari) is pulled over the head to act as a veil or headscarf.
